OUR FOUNDER’S HISTORY
Frank DiLeo began his professional career in 1978. He has won numerous awards, including the Roffler Styling Competition, Connecticut State Competition, and was a member of Connecticut State Haircutting Team. He won the gold medal for Golden Tulip Award in Holland and is a gold medal winner of the American Cup in 1986, ’88, and ’89. Mr. DiLeo also won the silver medal in the world championship in Rotterdam. Most recently he represented the USA in Japan at the World Hair Olympics.

Coming from five generations of hair dressers, Frank began cutting hair in 1968. \To learn the craft his father sent him to Italy. Retunring to the US and bringing with him the latest European fashions, Frank commenced working in his father’s salon in Connecticut. With his creative flair for style and precision razor cutting, Frank emerged as one of the best in his field in the United States.

A master of the razor technique, Frank received much acclaim for his down-to-earth, yet professional approach in educating stylists. Frank has always believed in sharing his knowledge and experience and is continuing to prove through his participation on numerous educational forums, including color demonstrations and application techniques at the New York Coliseum. Frank has trained students for regional and national competitions. He has also judged numerous competitions. He was a trainer for the 1992 USA Gent’s Olympic Team and represented the USA Olympic Hairdressing Team in Tokyo, Japan in 1992.
